A busy and successful week for league matches

The start of autumn saw the end of a busy week with home and away games against Belsay in the second division and  our home game against Auckland.

All three games were won beating Auckland by 11½ – 6½, and Belsay 14 – 4 (away) and 10 – 8 (home).

This completed our programme for the second division where Alnmouth will be the winners with Durham second and Belsay third.

In the first division, Durham has won all of its games so far, with the one postponed game away to Bamburgh still outstanding. So, a win against them, or even a narrow defeat will mean that we will be the 2016  winners.
